The goal of Wire Consulting Group is simple: To help our clients identify business problems that can be solved by marketing.

And then solve them.

That’s it. The whole enchilada. Sorry if you were expecting a wordy manifesto laden with obscure, yet impressive-sounding marketing-speak, but that’s the best description of what we do.

Marketing, by itself, is not intrinsically difficult. How you employ the countless possible solutions, however, is where things can get a bit thorny. At Wire Consulting Group, we clear a path through the brambles and reduce it all down to one objective; identify the problem then solve it.

Before you can solve a problem, you must first identify what the problem is.

We offer agency-level thinking without the agency.

Here’s a refreshing fact – you can find the marketing solutions you need without employing the services of a traditional advertising agency. Truth be told, sometimes dealing with an agency only creates more problems. Being ex-agency folks, we should know. The fact is most agencies are really just a collection of tactical order takers. Much of the value of marketing is in the strategy. So why deal with unnecessary expenses and inefficiencies when you can partner up with someone who will provide you with the same high-level thinking, productivity and results?

During Patrick’s 16 years at The Richards Group he cut his strategic teeth on a variety of clients while working as an agency Principal. While with BzzAgent, a word-of-mouth media company, he experienced first hand the client side of strategic marketing. In effect, he’s worked both sides of the fence. Patrick’s wide range of experience has also allowed him to build relationships with some of the most experienced, talented and brainy creative, media and production folks in the country. So once the problem is identified, he can dive into his Rolodex (or its 21st century equivalent) and bring in exactly the right personnel for the job. It’s smart. It’s super efficient. And it all works to give the Wire Consulting Group a unique advantage. An advantage you can use.

About Patrick Wire

Turns out man cannot live (or work) on beer alone.

As a mug-is-half-full optimist, Patrick sees opportunity around every corner.

Thanks to his ambition, smarts and a love for beer, Patrick’s career got off to a great start right out of the gate.

After receiving a B.B.A. in marketing and then his M.B.A. from Loyola University in New Orleans, he could have followed the hordes of other Cajuns to the nearest pub after graduation. Instead, he wisely figured out a way to get paid for hanging out in bars and headed to The Richards Group to work on G. Heilman Brewing.

In his first few years at the agency, Patrick used the experience he’d gained during an earlier position with Anheuser-Busch to help guide clients such as Rainier, Henry Weinhard’s, Old Style and Lone Star. Then, in a remarkable (and brief) moment of maturity and clarity, Patrick realized that man cannot live – or work – on beer alone. So he broadened his horizons by developing brand strategies and marketing communications for clients like Nokia Mobile Phones, The Home Depot, H-E-B Grocery Stores, Learjet, The Salvation Army, MGM Mirage, Maxfli Golf and, well, Corona beer. (Apparently, after helping to move over a million cases of adult beverages over the years, he couldn’t completely get away from the business.) When he is not trying to save the world from bad marketing communications, Patrick also enjoys tennis, golf, hunting, fishing, digging into some Cajun cooking, and hootin’-n-hollerin’ for his beloved Saints.
